About The Position

Aurora Behavioral Health Care-San Diego is seeking a Director of Plant Operations to provide dynamic leadership. This role is responsible for maintaining the facility, ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The Director also serves as the company Safety Officer and Chair for the Safety Committee.

Requirements

Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 3 years’ previous management experience.
Management experience in Healthcare, Hotels, or University environment.
Familiarity with Joint Commission, OSHA, HCAI/OSHPD.
Skilled in Microsoft Office.
CA DL required.
BLS CPR Certifications required prior to completion of new employee orientation.

Nice To Haves

Associate Degree, preferred.
Plumbing, electrician, or general contractor certification/license preferred.
Behavioral Healthcare experience preferred.
Verbal De-escalation and Physical Restraint Technique Training (provided).

Responsibilities

Supervising the day-to-day maintenance operations of the hospital.
Planning, implementing, and organizing projects.
Taking accountability for the overall plant operation to include housekeeping.
Allocating resources, monitoring operations, and triggering corrective actions.
Ability to multi-task.
Oversee Plant Maintenance Operations staff and Housekeeping.
Maintain up to date requirements for Plant Ops and Housekeeping.
Train new Plant Operations staff.
