About The Position

The Director of Plant Operations is responsible for overseeing the Plant Operations team, including the Plant Operations Manager, providing guidance, mentorship, and support for project execution. This role involves developing strategic plans for the department, expanding the customer base, creating quotes and terms for clients, and ensuring pricing strategies maximize margin. The Director is also tasked with managing personnel balance, recruitment, and onboarding processes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams like project management, logistics, and procurement is essential for seamless operations. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors is key to successful project delivery. Additionally, the Director will prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on the department's performance and progress.

Requirements

• NJ Gold or Red Seal Stationary Engineer License

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Plant Operations team including Plant Operations Manager, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful execution of projects and initiatives.
• Oversee strategic plans and objectives for the Plant Operations department in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
• Lead the efforts to build Plant Operations customer base. Seeking out Service and Parts opportunities.
• Create quotes and T&Cs for new and existing customers.
• Ensure pricing escalation to maximize margin.
• Ensure the department has the correct balance of personnel, full-time and part-time, to respond to customers’ needs.
• Recruit, draft offer letters, and transfer to onboarding process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, logistics, and procurement, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of Plant Operations activities.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure effective communication and successful project delivery.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into the performance and progress of Plant Operations activities.
