  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills--ability to inspire and hold accountable a geographically dispersed team while remaining personally credible with the physicians served.
  • High degree of self-motivation, accountability, and follow-through.
  • Experience building or managing CRM-based physician engagement workflows, including team-level reporting, activity tracking, and performance dashboards.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly--both for personal physician engagement and to support and accompany team members in their markets.
  • 7+ years of experience in physician-facing roles, including at least 3 years managing or leading a physician liaison, provider relations, or healthcare sales team.
  • Demonstrated experience building or significantly scaling a physician outreach or liaison program--including hiring, process design, and team performance management.
  • Commitment to compliance and acting in accordance with all applicable laws, statutes & regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience building a physician liaison or provider relations program at a multi-site or platform-level healthcare organization.
  • Background in healthcare business development, physician recruitment, or provider network management at a regional or national scale.
  • Familiarity with ASC or surgical hospital governance structures, physician ownership models, and the dynamics of physician-owned facilities.
  • Experience in medical device, pharma, or healthcare services sales with high physician contact volume.
  • Experience working within a large surgery platform or health system with a formal physician engagement or relations program.

  • Personally manage key relationships with physicians and practice managers in priority markets, especially during the early phase of program buildout and at newly acquired facilities.
  • Serve as a conduit between physician partners/practice managers and Legent's operational, development, and executive teams, particularly concerning provider issues and patient experience challenges.
  • Build and maintain reporting frameworks to track physician engagement, referral activity, utilization trends, and liaison team performance.
  • Develop and oversee physician & practice manager engagement programs that scale across the Legent portfolio.
  • Partner with integration and development teams to introduce the physician liaison model in new markets, ensuring physician partners are engaged from day one.
  • Establish and enforce CRM standards across the liaison team, ensuring consistent documentation of physician interactions, preferences, and commitments.
