About The Position
The Director of Physical Therapy will lead patient care services in an outpatient clinic setting. This position includes clinical treatment, team supervision, documentation oversight, and operational support. This is a good match for a Physical Therapist who enjoys seeing patients progress while also helping staff stay organized, supported, and aligned with clinic standards.
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy required
- Strong understanding of clinical documentation and outpatient care standards
Nice To Haves
- Prior director, manager, or lead therapist experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead outpatient therapy services and daily clinical priorities
- Evaluate patients and create treatment plans based on functional needs
- Provide treatment for orthopedic, neurologic, post-operative, and mobility-related conditions
- Monitor patient progress and update care plans as needed
- Support clinical staff with patient cases, documentation, and workflow questions
- Review records for accuracy, quality, and compliance
