About The Position
A Warrenton, VA outpatient physical therapy office is seeking a Director of Physical Therapy for a full-time leadership position. This role offers a salary range of $90,000-$120,000 per year and a steady Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule. The Director of Physical Therapy will oversee clinical care, support the therapy team, and help patients receive organized treatment from the first appointment through discharge. The role requires strong outpatient experience, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to lead a team in a busy clinic setting.
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy required
- Strong understanding of clinical documentation and outpatient care standards
- Ability to lead teams with professionalism and clear communication
Nice To Haves
- Prior director, manager, or lead therapist experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage clinical services within the outpatient therapy office
- Perform patient evaluations and develop personalized care plans
- Provide treatment for pain, injury recovery, post-surgical rehab, and mobility concerns
- Supervise staff and support clinical decision-making
- Monitor patient outcomes and update care plans as needed
- Review documentation for completeness and compliance
- Support patient scheduling, provider communication, and clinic flow
- Help maintain consistent care standards across the clinic
