Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Seven or more years of progressive nonprofit fundraising, development, donor relations, or partnership management experience.
  • Demonstrated success securing major gifts of $25,000 or more.
  • Proven experience managing fundraising events, corporate partnerships, and major donor portfolios.
  • Demonstrated history of generating at least $500,000 in annual fundraising revenue.
  • Experience working directly with executive leadership on fundraising strategy.
  • Strong relationship building, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience using donor CRM systems to manage fundraising pipelines and reporting.
  • Financial acumen with the ability to forecast revenue, monitor budgets, and measure fundraising performance.
  • Local travel throughout Southern Nevada is required.
  • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to meet the organization's insurability requirements are required.

  • Candidates with experience generating more than $1 million annually in philanthropic revenue and securing six figure gifts are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the organization's fundraising strategy and achieving annual philanthropic revenue goals.
  • Building and managing a strong pipeline of individual donors, major gift prospects, corporate partners, and sponsors.
  • Cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gifts while expanding unrestricted funding.
  • Developing new donor acquisition strategies while strengthening engagement with existing supporters.
  • Planning and overseeing fundraising events that generate revenue and deepen donor relationships.
  • Partnering closely with the CEO and senior leadership to execute strategic fundraising initiatives.
  • Tracking fundraising performance through CRM reporting, revenue forecasting, and pipeline management.
  • Collaborating with marketing to create compelling donor communications, campaigns, and storytelling.
  • Building systems and processes that support accountability, sustainability, and long-term fundraising success.
