Director of Philanthropy & Community Engagement
About The Position
Easterseals Florida is seeking a community-connected professional to serve as Director of Philanthropy & Community Engagement in Palm Beach County. The role focuses on building relationships with donors, business leaders, community partners, and civic organizations to expand awareness, engagement, and philanthropic support for Easterseals Florida. The Director serves as an ambassador for the organization’s mission, connecting people and organizations with opportunities to make a lasting impact on the children, adults, and families it serves. This is a part-time position working 20 to 25 hours per week, paying $40.00 per hour. Regular travel throughout Palm Beach County is required, along with reliable transportation and the ability to meet Easterseals Florida’s driver requirements. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requirements
- Proven success in relationship-building, community engagement, business development, fundraising, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, internet-based tools, and donor database/CRM systems.
- Self-motivated professional who thrives in a community-facing role.
- Passion for Easterseals Florida’s mission and commitment to serving individuals with disabilities and other community needs.
- Regular travel throughout Palm Beach County is required.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to meet Easterseals Florida’s driver requirements are required.

Responsibilities
- Build and strengthen relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and community leaders.
- Identify and cultivate new philanthropic and sponsorship opportunities.
- Represent Easterseals Florida at networking events, business meetings, and community gatherings throughout Palm Beach County.
- Engage and support Advisory Board members in advancing fundraising and community engagement efforts.
- Coordinate donor visits, program tours, and mission-focused experiences.
- Collaborate with philanthropy leadership to grow community support and charitable investment.
