About The Position

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. The Director of Pharmacy is responsible for the oversight and management of pharmacy service, drug stock, drug storage, drug distribution and delivery of pharmaceutical care. The Director may also be the Pharmacist in Charge (Class C) as designated by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy
• 2 years of hospital pharmacy postgraduate experience at a supervisory level
• Possession of a current Texas State Board of Pharmacy License

Nice To Haves

• Pharm D
• Masters Degree or equivalent experience, or residency
• Previous director level experience or equivalent
• IV Admixture Certification
