About The Position

The Director of Pharmacy holds a safety sensitive position and manages and provides pharmaceutical care both distributive and clinical, in a direct effort to allow for optimum patient outcomes. The Director of Pharmacy also offers direction and services as a resource for hospital and medical staff. The Director also functions in the role of pharmacist in charge on a daily basis.

Requirements

• Current license from the Oklahoma Board of Pharmacy.
• At least six months of hospital experience as a pharmacy director.
• Working knowledge of a hospital drug room in compliance with Oklahoma Admin Code 535.
• Knowledgeable and demonstrate competency in medication administration/dosing guidelines in accordance with age specific criteria.
• Knowledge of ACHC standards and guidelines.
