About The Position
Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Director of Pharmacy for a hospital opportunity in the Newark, OH area. This role will oversee pharmacy operations, clinical services, and regulatory compliance within an inpatient setting. This is a leadership role with full operational oversight within an inpatient hospital setting, offering long-term placement within an established system.
Requirements
- Active Ohio Pharmacist License in good standing
- Previous Director of Pharmacy or strong pharmacy leadership experience required
- Inpatient hospital experience required
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, medication safety, and clinical operations
Responsibilities
- Oversee all pharmacy operations and staff
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and hospital policies
- Lead clinical and operational pharmacy initiatives
- Manage inventory, workflow, and staffing
- Collaborate with hospital leadership and interdisciplinary teams
- Support accreditation readiness and regulatory standards
