About The Position
Specialty Medical Staffing is seeking a Director of Pharmacy (PIC) for an interim assignment at a behavioral health hospital in Kentucky. This role involves leading pharmacy operations, supporting a full pharmacy buildout and go-live process, and managing medication ordering and inventory. The position requires experience with pharmacy setup and implementation, and will initially operate without technician support as the hospital transitions to an in-house pharmacy model. Training will be provided for relevant systems and workflows.
Requirements
- Active Kentucky Pharmacist License in good standing
- Inpatient hospital experience required
- Experience with pharmacy setup and implementation required
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Omnicell and HCS preferred
