About The Position

Preble Street is currently seeking a Permanent Supportive Housing Program (PSHP) Director to provide oversight and management to the PSHP program, ensuring the provision of high-quality services and community planning in alignment with the agency mission and PSHP grant requirements. The scope of the Program Director’s management and leadership responsibilities includes program administration and implementation, quality of services, staff supervision and support, and ensuring the safety of clients and staff, and community engagement and planning. The Program Director also works in conjunction with the Senior Directors in program development and evaluation, resource and systems development, community relations and grants management. This position also assists in the management and oversight of PSHP subcontractors and will require occasional statewide travel. Population Served: Adults and families experiencing homelessness, formerly homeless adults and families.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, public administration, business administration or related field of study.
  • Significant or relevant experience in nonprofit management.
  • Minimum of three years of experience working with people experiencing homelessness; or comparable combination of education and relevant experience.
