About The Position

HHM Hotels is expanding its footprint in the Tampa market and is seeking a Director of People Support to lead human resources at the property level. The role oversees recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and HR compliance. In partnership with hotel leadership, the director strengthens employee engagement, guides people practices, and builds a positive workplace culture while supporting growth in the Tampa market. The role coordinates with HHM Hotels’ centralized People Support teams to communicate and administer people programs at the property level.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
3–5 years of previous Human Resources experience.

Hotel HR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with centralized People Support teams to ensure benefits, compensation, leave, training, and employee relations programs are effectively communicated and administered at the property.
Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates, ensuring they meet brand or hotel standards and HHM core values.
Manage and perform talent acquisition activities, including posting jobs, sourcing candidates, interviewing, and ensuring hotel managers select the best-qualified candidates.
Process new hires according to established standards and applicable state, federal, and local laws and regulations.
Conduct employee relations activities that support a positive work culture, workplace fairness, and unbiased assistance with associate concerns.
Develop and/or implement training programs as needed.
Support a performance-driven culture that recognizes and rewards good performance and addresses poor performance consistently with established standards and procedures.
Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
