About The Position

AllCare is seeking an execution-oriented Director of People Operations to help build and scale the company’s people infrastructure. We are looking for a highly versatile people leader and generalist who is comfortable operating across a wide range of responsibilities—including people operations, HR business partnership, performance management, and talent initiatives. This role requires someone who is hands-on, flexible, and adaptable, with the ability to shift across priorities and step in where needed. The Director will work closely with executive leadership and an external advisor, with meaningful ownership and strong runway for growth as the organization continues to scale.

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of progressive experience across people operations, HR business partnership, organizational effectiveness, or related HR leadership functions
  • Experience working in healthcare services, healthcare technology, multi-site healthcare operations, or similarly dynamic service environments
  • Strong operational, analytical, and project management skills with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence leaders at multiple levels of the organization
  • Experience supporting performance management, employee engagement, organizational change, and manager effectiveness initiatives
  • Strong judgment, communication skills, and ability to navigate ambiguity, competing priorities, and complex people situations thoughtfully
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to continue learning and growing as a people leader

Nice To Haves

  • Experience implementing or administering Leapsome or similar performance management and engagement platforms
  • Experience supporting both clinic/frontline and corporate employee populations
  • Experience in a private equity-backed, tech-enabled, or operationally complex healthcare organization

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to execute key people initiatives and organizational priorities
  • Build scalable HR systems, processes, and operating rhythms
  • Support organizational design, change management, and team effectiveness
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clinic and operational leaders on employee relations, performance, and team dynamics
  • Own the administration, maintenance, and ongoing optimization of Leapsome as AllCare’s performance management, engagement, and HRIS platform
  • Coordinate and execute performance review cycles, calibration processes, goal-setting workflows, and related manager enablement efforts
  • Run employee engagement surveys, analyze results, identify themes/trends, and help drive actionable follow-through plans
  • Help strengthen accountability, feedback quality, manager effectiveness, and organizational clarity across the company
  • Support leaders in creating high-performing, engaged, and collaborative teams
  • Own and oversee non-clinical talent acquisition strategy and execution
  • Partner with leadership on headcount planning and hiring priorities
  • Recruiting directly for key roles and manage external recruiters in select roles
  • Improve recruiting processes, candidate experience, and time-to-fill
  • Support onboarding and early employee integration
  • Oversee core HR operations, policies, documentation, and personnel processes
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices
  • Maintain accurate employee records, reporting, and HR documentation
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders supporting benefits administration, leave management, and related HR functions
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve operational workflows, systems, and processes over time
