We're looking for a Director of People Operations who loves creating scalable people programs to help a growing company thrive. This person will be a trusted partner to leaders across the business, balancing day-to-day people operations with strategic initiatives that support our team's growth. You'll own the core People function, ensuring our employees have a seamless experience from onboarding through career development while helping managers navigate people-related challenges with confidence. Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of compensation, benefits administration, performance management, and employment practices.
  • Experience managing 401(k) programs and working with benefits providers and brokers.
  • Proven ability to coach managers and influence leaders across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly.
  • Hands-on, practical, and excited to roll up your sleeves when needed.
  • Passion for creating an exceptional employee experience while helping the business grow.
  • A proactive and curious attitude about how AI can support your role through automation, ideation, or more thoughtful decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Lead People Operations
  • Manage the day-to-day People Operations function, ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Own employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, and documentation.
  • Maintain and improve HR systems, policies, and processes as the company scales.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Lead compensation programs including salary reviews, benchmarking, job leveling, and compensation planning.
  • Manage employee benefits programs and serve as the primary point of contact for benefits administration.
  • Oversee 401(k) administration, including employee communications, compliance requirements, and vendor relationships.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers on employee relations, performance concerns, team development, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen employee engagement and retention.
