About The Position

PurposeMed is seeking a Director of Partner Success to manage and grow Freddie’s key relationships, including Covered Entity partnerships across the US and Canadian partner relationships. This role involves building a cross-geography account management function from scratch, establishing playbooks, automation, and documentation. Responsibilities include conducting quarterly business reviews, negotiating renewals, introducing new services, and using data-driven insights to expand partnerships. The Director will collaborate with data, finance, customer support, and product teams to ensure the partner perspective influences the product roadmap and to oversee daily operations. A Partnerships Success Manager and a Senior Manager of Community will report to this role. This Director-level position offers significant organizational influence and strategic decision-making power.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in partnership management, strategic account management, or client leadership.
  • Proven track record of independently managing 10+ high-value relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with mission-driven organizations (non-profits, community health, government-funded entities, or similar).
  • Strong business development instinct—ability to spot growth opportunities and position them as value-add.
  • Executive-level communication skills.
  • Strong cross-functional instinct—ability to work across data, finance, product, and support teams.
  • Commercial instinct—ability to see opportunities to deepen partnerships and close them through trust.
  • Ability to manage one direct report and develop their capabilities.
  • Data-driven storytelling skills—ability to turn utilization data and outcomes into a compelling narrative.
  • Experience working with non-profit, community-based, or government-funded organizations.
  • Healthcare industry experience.
  • Proven ability to navigate and influence collaborating teams such as product, clinical, and data.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the 340B Drug Pricing Program, contract pharmacy, or HRSA compliance.
  • Experience in LGBTQ+ health, HIV/AIDS services, or health equity.

Responsibilities

  • Own all covered entity partner relationships end-to-end, from onboarding through renewal and expansion.
  • Define and deliver an exceptional partner experience, including running structured MBRs/QBRs and building partnership roadmaps.
  • Identify and close expansion opportunities through consultative, partnership-oriented selling.
  • Act as the internal advocate for partners, translating their needs to product, clinical, and operations teams.
  • Strategically grow relationships with existing CE partners by helping them access new services through Freddie.
  • Develop and deliver compelling pitches grounded in data, outcomes, and mission alignment.
  • Represent Freddie at industry events and conferences to enhance its reputation in the 340B and community health ecosystem.
  • Oversee the Partnerships Success Manager to ensure partners are accurately invoiced and data reports are created and quality-assured.
  • Ensure all operational processes are documented, reliable, and continuously improving.
