About The Position

Brentwood Hospital is seeking a dynamic Director of Outpatient Services (LPC/LCSW) to join a team dedicated to improving mental health. This role involves developing and administering a comprehensive partial organization program and overseeing all outpatient services to align with the organization's mission and goals. The Director will integrate outpatient services into the broader Behavioral Health System's continuum of care, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for patients and providing options for continued improvement upon discharge. Brentwood Hospital is a 260-bed facility in Shreveport, Louisiana, with over 45 years of experience serving children, adolescents, adults, and seniors in Louisiana, East Texas, and South Arkansas.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in behavioral science or mental health-related field required.
• LCSW or LPC required

Nice To Haves

• clinical, supervisory, and administrative experience in inpatient and outpatient mental health settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Designs partial treatment programs; all outpatient programs are adequately structured; treatment modalities are age and diagnosis specific, develops programs which easily interface with other inpatient and outpatient services provided by the organization
• Maintains effective, compatible relationships between the outpatient services and other programs provided within the Brentwood delivery system
• Carries out the personnel management activities associated with direct staff supervision, including screening and selection, orientation training and development, performance management, and employee relations functions
