About The Position

The Director of Operations is a strategic and hands-on leader who translates organizational vision into effective, scalable operations. The role drives operational excellence by improving efficiency, managing resources, developing high-performing teams, and executing initiatives that support profitability, customer satisfaction, and long-term growth. The Director leads day-to-day operations across departments, establishes standards and performance measures, manages budgets and operational data, leads strategic initiatives, oversees business systems, and partners with internal and external stakeholders. Crothall Healthcare is a Compass Healthcare company that provides specialized support services to the healthcare industry. Its services include Environmental Services, Patient Transportation, Patient Observation, Healthcare Facilities Management, Sterile Processing Services, and Ambulatory EVS.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
At least 5 years of progressive experience in operations management or senior leadership roles, with demonstrated success managing budgets, teams, and complex initiatives.
Strategic thinking and execution.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
Proficiency with ERP, CRM, and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

Lead and optimize day-to-day operations across departments to support seamless execution, consistency, and compliance.
Establish operational standards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to monitor performance.
Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
Develop and manage operating budgets.
Analyze financial and operational data to support forecasting and decision-making.
Partner with finance leadership on profitability initiatives.

Translate strategy into operational plans and lead cross-functional initiatives.

Oversee ERP, CRM, and workflow systems and ensure they support data-driven decision-making.
