Director of Operations
About The Position
This is an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Director of Operations in a high-volume automotive and appliance manufacturing environment located in Southern CA. The role offers the opportunity to lead, improve, and deliver results in a fast-paced manufacturing operation. The company is a growing automotive and appliance manufacturer and a global player. The salary range is $178k - $282k, with excellent bonus potential. Sponsorship may be considered for the perfect candidate. A full relocation package up to $25k+ is offered, along with temporary living expenses for 4-6 weeks. This position is the "#2 Person in the Plant – Reporting Directly to the GM".
Requirements
- 10+ Years in Stamping and Automated Assembly Process.
- Knowledge of Stamping Dies, Design Improvements & Process.
- Knowledge of Automated Assembly – Automotive & Appliance.
- Able to bring teams together as one-team.
- Mentor, Coach, Team Player, Smile on the Face ALL THE TIME!
- Motivate All Departments in Support Operations.
- Proven Track Record in Turning Around 700+ Team Environment.
- Customer Focused – Making Production Schedules.
- BS Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science or a related technical field, equivalent industry experience will be accepted.
- Automotive and/or Appliance Manufacturing Experience.
- Understanding in FMEA, control plans, inspection methods.
- Strong communication, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- MUST HAVE previous experience in Metal Stamping and Assembly in OEM or Tier 1 Automotive OR Similar.
Nice To Haves
- Automotive experience Preferred with PPAP, APQP, AIAG, IATF16949, Stamping Die’s, Automated Assembly Process using Robots.
- Speaking Fluent Spanish would be a Plus!
