About The Position

MANTECH seeks a mission-driven and detail-oriented Director of Operations to join our team in Oahu, Hawaii. This role is for a future opportunity. MANTECH is a trusted partner to the Department of Defense, delivering cutting-edge projects in areas like Cybersecurity, IT, and Data Analytics. The Director of Operations will plan, direct, and coordinate the operations of public and private sector organizations, overseeing multiple departments and locations. This position involves formulating high-level policies, managing daily operations of complex networks, and acting as the principal authority for achieving mission-critical organizational objectives. The role also serves as the principal lead for theater-wide logistics operations and strategic sustainment planning, authorizing the synchronization of multi-domain logistics services, and approving complex operational frameworks. Leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff are key aspects of this role.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field and 12+ years of position-relevant experience working in commercial industry in INDOPACOM AOR
  • Must demonstrate strategic experience in formal document approval and acting as the functional lead for program-level operational deliverables.
  • Must possess expert-level proficiency in joint theater distribution and theater campaign plan requirements.
  • Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Nice To Haves

  • MA/MS in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics or a related field and 15+ years of position-relevant experience working in Business Operations in and around the INDOPACOM AOR
  • PMP certification.
  • Extensive experience directing logistics operations for USSOCOM or USINDOPACOM at the senior staff level (O-5/O-6 or equivalent) is highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, directs, and coordinates the operations of public and private sector organizations while overseeing multiple departments and locations.
  • Formulates high-level policies and manages the daily operations of complex networks involving diverse human and material resources.
  • Acts as the principal authority for coordinating through subordinate supervisors to achieve mission-critical organizational objectives.
  • Serves as the principal lead for theater-wide logistics operations and strategic sustainment planning within the priority theater.
  • Authorizes the synchronization of multi-domain logistics services to ensure sustained combat power in contested environments.
  • Approves complex operational frameworks and serves as the final authority for resolving high-priority logistics gaps and mission constraints.
  • Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.
