About The Position

At BAYADA Home Health Care, we’re dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality home health care to medically fragile children and their families. Our team of skilled clinicians, caregivers, and support staff works tirelessly to ensure every child receives personalized care in the comfort and safety of their home. We’re currently seeking a dynamic Director of Pediatric Home Care to lead our office in Wilmington, NC and help drive excellence in clinical care, operational performance, and family satisfaction. The Director of Pediatric Home Care is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and growth of the pediatric home care office. This role combines clinical oversight, team development, business operations, and regulatory compliance to ensure our patients receive exceptional care and our staff are supported and empowered.

Requirements

  • Four year college degree required
  • Minimum 2 years verifiable experience in pediatric home care (preferred but nor required), home health, or related healthcare leadership roles.
  • Proven interpersonal, recruiting and employee relation skills
  • Knowledge of state regulations
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for delivering compassionate, family-centered pediatric care.

  • 2 years verifiable experience in pediatric home care

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team including clinical supervisors, nurses, caregivers, and administrative staff.
  • Oversee daily operations of the pediatric home care office, ensuring efficient scheduling, compliance, and service delivery.
  • Develop and manage budgets, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, hospitals, physicians, and community organizations.
  • Ensure all services meet federal, state, and accreditation standards for pediatric home health care.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and maintain a culture of excellence and safety.
  • Monitor performance metrics, budgets, and staffing levels to ensure financial and operational health of the office.
  • Represent the agency in the community and participate in outreach efforts to grow awareness and patient census.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for families to ensure concerns are addressed with empathy and urgency.
  • Monitor patient satisfaction and implement feedback into service improvement plans.
  • Ensure care coordination aligns with family preferences, cultural values, and patient needs.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and supportive workplace culture.
