About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Operations to oversee America’s Best Choice projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, communicating effectively, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, and maintaining high-quality workmanship. The Director of Operations will also lead a team of installers, coordinate with clients, and implement best practices to improve efficiency and safety.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years in siding installation or construction management.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
• Strong understanding of materials, tools, and installation techniques.
• Experience in scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and develop effective solutions on-site.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with crews, clients, and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Certification through the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM) preferred.
• Five years of related experience required.
• OSHA certification or knowledge of workplace safety standards.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet quality standards.
• Supervise, train, and mentor crews to improve productivity and craftsmanship.
• Plan and coordinate job schedules, ensuring optimal use of labor and materials.
• Conduct inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship and address any deficiencies.
• Communicate with clients, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction with completed projects.
• Enforce workplace safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Manage costs related to labor, materials, and equipment to stay within project budgets.
• Ensure materials and supplies are available and properly utilized to prevent delays.
• Identify and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
