About The Position

LA Krewe Rush is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and relationship-driven professional to serve as our Director of Operations. This position plays a key role in the day-to-day operation of the club, overseeing facility and scheduling logistics, league administration, club events, membership engagement, and community partnerships. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator and problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and understands the importance of creating a high-quality experience for players, families, coaches, staff, and community partners.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in youth sports, soccer administration, event management, operations, community relations, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Coaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate the operational needs of LA Krewe Rush, including practice scheduling and facility coordination, coaching conflicts, and communication with field management personnel.
  • Work closely with coaches and directors to ensure training environments and facilities consistently meet club standards.
  • Serve as a liaison between LA Krewe Rush and organizations including Rush Soccer, ECNL, Louisiana Soccer Association, and other soccer organizations.
  • Represent the club at appropriate meetings, conferences, and events and provide updates to club leadership.
  • Coordinate the operational aspects of the club's ECNL participation, including registration, scheduling, uniforms/kits, referees, athletic trainers, game-day setup, travel information, game discrepancies, and disciplinary matters.
  • Coordinate and manage club events designed to strengthen membership engagement and club culture, including LA Krewe Rush-hosted tournaments and events such as Family Fun Day.
  • Coordinate Winter and Preseason Camps, including staff assignments, logistics, and parent communication.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with businesses and community organizations that align with LA Krewe Rush and provide value to club members.
  • Manage and grow the LKR Development Fund, identifying creative sponsorship and partnership opportunities that allow businesses to support the club while gaining exposure within the LA Krewe Rush community.
  • Maintain and expand the LKR Business Directory, promoting businesses within the club membership and developing preferred-vendor relationships when appropriate.
  • Develop initiatives that strengthen communication and engagement with LA Krewe Rush families throughout the year, including the non-season and summer months.
  • Coordinate with external organizations regarding events hosted at LA Krewe Rush facilities, including ODP events, coaching education, referee courses, practices, and other soccer-related programming.
