About The Position

Joya Child & Family Development is seeking a strategic, mission-driven Director of Operations to help lead their organization and strengthen its impact in the community. The Director of Operations provides leadership and oversight for Joya's clinical programs and services, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, workforce development, and organizational effectiveness. This role works closely with the Executive Director and Management Team to translate strategy into action, develop leaders, improve systems, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Leadership, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit, healthcare, operations, or related settings.
  • Minimum 5 years managing teams, departments, or organizational functions.
  • Demonstrated success in leadership, organizational improvement, and change management.
  • Experience managing budgets, performance metrics, and organizational resources.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for clinical programs and services.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop departmental Leads.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support organizational growth, strategic initiatives, and service expansion.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and funding requirements.
  • Partner with Human Resources, Finance, Quality, and Program leaders to support effective operations.
  • Serve as a member of the Management Team and Acting Director when designated.
