About The Position

The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational management of the company’s assets, ensuring optimal performance, compliance, and efficiency. This role involves leading asset acquisition strategies, implementing operational best practices, and managing risk while maximizing asset value and return on investment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in asset management, operations, or financial oversight.
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting related to asset portfolios.
  • Experience managing diverse asset types such as real estate, equipment, vehicles, or investments.
  • Proficiency in asset management software and financial analysis tools.
  • Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Ability to perform all essential functions of the job description.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree (MBA).
  • Experience with real estate asset management, private equity, or infrastructure investments.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance, leasing agreements, and risk management strategies.
  • Strong background in contract negotiations, vendor management, and operational analytics.
  • Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP) or similar industry certification.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute asset management strategies to enhance performance and profitability.
  • Monitor asset lifecycle, ensuring effective utilization, maintenance, and disposition plans.
  • Identify opportunities for asset optimization, cost reduction, and revenue enhancement.
  • Oversee financial modeling and analysis to support asset-related decision-making.
  • Establish and maintain operational policies and procedures to improve asset efficiency.
  • Implement performance tracking metrics and reporting tools for asset evaluation.
  • Collaborate with finance, legal, and compliance teams to ensure operational adherence to regulations.
  • Work with internal teams and external partners to enhance asset productivity and sustainability.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal asset management regulations.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Manage contracts, leases, and vendor agreements related to asset operations.
  • Implement internal controls to protect company assets and mitigate financial risks.
  • Lead and mentor asset management teams, fostering professional growth and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align asset strategies with corporate objectives.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, efficiency, and innovation within the asset management division.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning related to asset portfolios.
  • Work closely with investors, lenders, and stakeholders to optimize asset performance.
  • Provide insights on asset acquisitions, dispositions, and capital expenditure planning.
  • Maintain satisfactory attendance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Oversee the daily workflow and schedules of employees.
