About The Position

The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our prestigious luxury high-rise association, Millennium Tower, located in San Francisco, CA. The Director of Operations ensures seamless delivery of luxury services to residents. This role requires a strong background in luxury hotel or hotel residences, with a particular focus on rooms division operations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Requirements

Bachelorâ€™s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of Director-level experience in luxury hotel or hotel residence operations, with a focus on Rooms Division. (Forbes experience)
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Buildinglink, ADP, MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. (Required)
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of the property's operations, including security, valet, concierge, and housekeeping.
Actively participate in all appropriate operations committees, Board meetings, and preventative maintenance programs/initiatives.
Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing training, coaching, and performance management based on Forbes standards.
Ensure a consistently high level of resident and guest satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.
Develop and manage operations within the budget.
Oversee vendor relationships and contracts to optimize costs and service quality.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards.
Oversee renovation and improvement projects.
