About The Position

SigmaCorps Solutions, LLC is establishing a Director of Operations to lead one of three functional pillars reporting directly to the President & CEO. This is a newly created position — not a backfill of an existing vacancy. As the company grows its government-contracting portfolio, the operational and administrative functions currently carried by the CEO — facility management, security program coordination, information technology, personnel performance processes, and the general day-to-day “gears” of the business — require a dedicated senior leader. Because many of these tasks have been performed by the CEO and are not yet formally documented, a defining responsibility of this role is to identify, capture, and assume them: the Director of Operations turns unwritten operational practice into owned, repeatable process, ensuring business continuity and freeing executive capacity for growth. The Director of Operations is one of three directors reporting to the CEO: Pillar Title Scope Science & Technology Technical Director Engineering; technical reviews of solicitations, proposals, and CDRLs Finance & Contracts Director of Finance & Contracts Financial management; contract administration Operations Director of Operations (this position) Facility, security, IT, performance evaluation processes, business operations. Requirements

20+ years of progressively senior leadership in military or government-contracting operations (senior warrant officer, senior enlisted, or field-grade equivalent).
Demonstrated personnel management experience: performance evaluations, performance counseling, and training oversight of large technical training and maintenance organizations.
Experience in capability development, requirements writing, or acquisition support (e.g., Marine Corps Combat Development Command or equivalent), including contracting officer representative (COR) duty on commercial contracts.
Working knowledge of DoD security, facility, and administrative practice sufficient to run corporate operations in a cleared-contractor environment.
Active Secret clearance (minimum).

Nice To Haves

Technical background in expeditionary radar systems — Ground/Air Task-Oriented Radar (G/ATOR) and Ground-Based Air Defense (GBAD) sensors — and MAGTF Command & Control.
Experience with the GBAD Program Office, AC2SN, and program-office / senior-liaison interface roles.
Test and evaluation experience across the full range: government acceptance testing, software testing, batch testing, developmental testing, and operational testing.
Current TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

Own day-to-day business operations: facility management, vendor and lease coordination, and the physical plant.
Coordinate the corporate security program in support of the FSO/ITPO structure, including facility security requirements, and interface with the designated AFSOs on scheduling and program execution.
Oversee corporate information technology: infrastructure, accounts and access provisioning, and IT vendor management.
Administer the personnel performance evaluation and counseling cycle across the company, in coordination with HR.
Identify, document, and assume operational and administrative tasks currently performed by the CEO, formalizing them into repeatable processes.
Support onboarding and offboarding execution on the operations side (property issue, access provisioning, close-out) per the HR lifecycle library.
Bring a requirements-development and doctrine-informed perspective to business development and capture, strengthening SigmaCorps’ positioning as a government contractor.
The Director of Operations is eligible to directly support billable positions on SigmaCorps contracts where qualified — including the open Senior Test Engineer (Counter-UAS) requisition — as approved by the CEO. Contract support is secondary to this position’s operational responsibilities and is scoped to preserve the Director’s capacity for them.
