About The Position

MB2 Dental, a Dental Partnership Organization (DPO) founded in 2007 and based in Carrollton, TX, is hiring a Director of Operations. This role provides strategic oversight and mentorship of Operations, with direct responsibility for the operational and financial success of multiple dental practices in Arkansas. The Director of Operations supports operating Dentist owners by holding direct reports accountable for daily practice operations and immediate needs, while also positioning the practice for growth. Key skills for this role include creating annual budgets, strategic planning, project management, talent calibration, growth and development plans, financial statement analysis, strong verbal and written communication, and demonstrating professional, ethical, and high-standard behavior.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of dental office management experience is required
  • Detail-oriented with great organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Multi-site experience is highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Partner with operating owners and executive leadership to make operational decisions
  • Understand, analyze, and action plan key performance metrics to successfully lead and grow the multi-unit business within an assigned territory
  • Assess practice needs and strategically plan to make improvements
  • Model outstanding service to clients, including superior written, verbal, and other communication skills. Identify team member strengths and areas for improvement in leadership and management skills. Train, coach, and mentor team members to optimal service excellence
  • Interview, hire, and retain top-tier talent in a partnership with human resources to ensure staffing needs are met, turnover is controlled and decreasing year over year, and team members grow throughout the organization
  • Onboard all team members to seamlessly integrate into the dynamic business environment while continuing to meet the business needs
  • Train operations team members to perform duties in a timely and accurate manner while auditing work to confirm quality and provide additional training as needed
  • Review operating performance results and take immediate steps to implement corrective action as needed, while creating and executing long-term strategic plans
  • Partner with dedicated corporate departments and executive team members to design sustainable and scalable programs
  • Organize all projects, initiatives, and programs via project charters; share updates at regular and timely meetings while tailoring the message to specific audiences
  • Hold team members accountable for annual training requirements, performance reviews, and other company requirements
