About The Position

Floorplan Xpress is seeking an experienced and analytical leader to join their team as the Director of Operational Assurance. This role works closely with the CEO and senior leadership to evaluate operations, improve business processes, support strategic initiatives, and identify opportunities to strengthen the organization. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, enjoys solving problems, and thrives on making organizations better.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience in operations, finance, compliance, auditing, business analysis, or a related leadership role.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• High integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment.
• The ability to build relationships and influence positive change across departments.
• Must be able to pass a background check and motor vehicle report.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug testing.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the CEO on strategic initiatives and special projects.
• Evaluate operational readiness for new initiatives, acquisitions, and expansion opportunities.
• Review business processes and internal controls to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct operational reviews, process evaluations, and spot audits.
• Identify operational risks, inefficiencies, and trends that could impact company performance.
• Verify compliance with company policies and established procedures.
• Conduct confidential operational investigations as assigned.
• Monitor strategic initiatives and provide objective recommendations to leadership.
• Prepare reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and opportunities for improvement.
