About The Position

The Director of On-Campus Recruiting for the football program is responsible for the planning and execution of all recruiting operations. This role involves overseeing and managing the operations, ensuring NCAA compliance, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders. The salary grade for this position is 14. Please see the Staff Compensation Structure for salary ranges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field with two (2) years of related experience.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience approved by Human Resources Management.
  • Ability to work long and irregular hours.
  • Excellent organizational, management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel and stay overnight.
  • Valid Drivers’ License.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the accounting system for football program.
  • Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchasing, travel, personnel, or related functions and maintenance of records.
  • Oversee ordering, care, maintenance, and utilization of department equipment, supplies, and inventories.
  • Develop financial statements such as billings, budgets, and cost reports.
  • Maintain/update recruiting books (general and individual).
  • Manage all cash transactions, including overseeing cash handling, issuing receipts, recording transactions, and preparing bank deposits. Responsible for maintaining accurate cash records, reconciling cash reports, and ensuring the cash fund is balanced.
  • Perform campus and athletic facility tours.
  • Organize and assist with all Recruiting Visits.
  • Assist with summer camps (organize one-day visits and Big Dawg camp).
  • Assist Senior Director of Recruiting Strategy.
  • Other duties as assigned.
