About The Position

Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Director of Nursing for their addiction medicine program in Florence, SC. Since 2005, Crossroads has been a leader in treating patients with opioid use disorder, offering accessible, high-quality, evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT). The organization operates outpatient clinics across multiple states and is committed to diversity and inclusion. The Director of Nursing will play a key role in overseeing the dosing area, managing the nursing team, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Requirements

Registered Nurse license issued in the state in which they will be practicing or a multi-state compact status license.
License should be in good standing, unencumbered, and active.
Strong phlebotomy skills.
On call for emergency purposes.

Nice To Haves

3+ years of supervisory or managerial experience at minimum in nursing is preferred.
Experience drawing blood on collapsed veins is a plus.
Active and current CPR or BLS certification is preferred.
Excellent training if you are new to this field.

Responsibilities

Monitor dosing area for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with controlled medication.
Maintain nursing schedule and inventory for dosing area.
Provide training and education to new and existing nursing team members.
Conduct regular nursing staff meetings.
Understand all functions and roles of the Dosing Nurse position and be able to fill in when needed.
Track and conduct patient annual physicals according to state regulations.
Assist the medical provider with new patient intakes.
Participate in the interviewing and hiring process of new nurses.
