Bond Vet•New York, NY

About The Position

Bond Vet is seeking a Director of Nursing to help lead nursing standards, training, and career development across its practices. The role supports the organization’s mission to improve veterinary care and follows the merger of Bond Vet and Small Door Veterinary, which created a combined organization spanning more than 55 clinics across Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest markets. The Director sets and maintains nursing standards, including protocols, skill benchmarks, quality audits, and accountability processes. They lead the Clinical Nurse Trainer program, supporting onboarding, practice openings, integrations, and practices that need additional support. They also own the nursing career ladder and talent pipeline, including externship and credentialing pathways, in partnership with Talent and People. Practice Managers lead nursing teams; the Director leads through standards, training, and career pathways. The position is hybrid, with approximately 75% of time spent in the field across practices and up to 50% travel. NYC is preferred, though candidates in any market where the company operates may be considered.
