About The Position

Dover Center for Health & Rehabilitation, a Silver Quality Award-winning skilled nursing center with 112 beds, is seeking a new Director of Nursing (DNS). This role involves 24-hour accountability for the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective health care, achieving positive clinical outcomes, and ensuring patient/resident and employee satisfaction. The Director of Nursing will provide strategic leadership to the nursing team, foster excellence and innovation in nursing care, shape the facility's culture, and drive the advancement of healthcare practice. The ideal candidate will be comfortable making decisions and setting the right tone for a young team.

Requirements

  • Valid state RN nursing license
  • Commitment to resident-centered care and excellence in healthcare delivery
  • Visionary mindset with a focus on innovation and quality improvement
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
  • Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
  • Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree or certification preferred
  • Experience in a senior nursing leadership role in a Long-Term Care or similar healthcare setting preferred
