About The Position
NHC Lewisburg is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) with an RN license to lead their nursing team. Requirements
- Must be an RN (Registered Nurse) and currently licensed in Tennessee
- Must have professional experience in the practice of geriatrics, nursing administration, and other related areas
- Must be caring, compassionate, have a positive attitude and be a team player
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a DON preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Maintaining clinical competency as evidenced by application integrated nursing knowledge and skills, leadership, and communication skills.
- Utilizing the nursing process in assessment, planning, and implementing care.
- Exhibiting organizational ability related to workflow, prioritizing to meet patient care needs.
- Practicing continuous quality improvement thinking and problem-solving skills.
