About The Position

The Director of Nursing at Jeffrey & Susan Brudnick Center for Living directs and oversees nursing operations to ensure safe, high-quality, resident-centered care that complies with federal, state, and facility regulations. The role leads nursing staff and monitors clinical outcomes and quality measures, while maintaining regulatory and survey readiness. The Director collaborates with physicians, residents, families, rehabilitation, social services, and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans and improve resident outcomes.

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• At least 3 years of nursing experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.
• At least 1 year of experience in a clinical supervisor or leadership role.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols in a skilled nursing or similar healthcare setting.
• Current CPR certifications, including BLS and ACLS.
• Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee nursing operations to ensure safe, high-quality, resident-centered care in accordance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
• Lead and supervise nursing staff, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, performance management, competency assessment, and professional development.
• Monitor clinical outcomes and quality measures, including falls, pressure injuries, infections, rehospitalizations, medication management, and other key indicators.
• Maintain compliance with CMS, state, and organizational standards; address deficiencies and implement corrective action plans to ensure regulatory and survey readiness.
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, rehabilitation, social services, and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans and improve resident outcomes.
