About The Position

The Director of Nursing-Mission Home Health division is responsible for developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures, managing nursing staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This role involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, overseeing patient needs assessments and care plan development, and monitoring the quality of nursing care. The Director of Nursing will also implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and participate in budget planning and management for nursing services.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in hospice nursing, with a focus on management
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and standards
• Previous experience in hospice care settings is required
• Strong leadership and nurse management skills
• Ability to effectively manage a team and drive performance improvements
• Active State license as a registered nurse, or a multi-state license by a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) member state.
• Current valid driver's license
• Minimum one year of hospice or home care experience as a RN within the last 36 months.
• Reliable transportation with valid auto liability insurance.
