About The Position
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to join our skilled nursing team in Pinehurst, NC. As the Director of Nursing, you will oversee all nursing operations, lead and mentor clinical staff, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and help create an environment where residents and employees thrive.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
- Previous leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or post-acute setting
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage clinical operations, and drive results
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for resident-centered care and employee engagement
Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all nursing services within the facility
- Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote quality care and professional growth
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Monitor clinical outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance resident care
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, recruitment, and retention efforts
- Maintain survey readiness and support successful regulatory outcomes
