About The Position
Ohana Pacific Health is seeking an experienced, passionate Director of Nursing to manage, direct, and coordinate the delivery of nursing and clinical care to residents in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional nursing experience.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Hawaii.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in geriatrics or long-term care.
- Management experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee admission, discharge, and transfer processes.
- Provide oversight of MDS assessments, care planning, and the RAI process.
- Oversee infection control processes.
- Ensure continuity of nursing services and compliance with established quality standards, including reviewing daily incident, accident and injury, and unit 24-hour reports to support timely and effective responses to resident changes and events.
- Oversee resident care and implementation of, and compliance with, resident-specific care plans.
- Conduct daily resident rounds, including regulatory compliance rounds, in all nursing units, and ensure follow-up on identified issues.
