About The Position

The Kidz Club PPEC is seeking an experienced RN leader for their Pediatric Day Program. As the Site Director of Nursing (SDON), you will lead and support clinical and non-clinical staff, champion quality care for children and families, and foster a supportive environment. Unlike a hospital setting, this role allows for building long-term relationships with families and supporting children's growth. The position offers the opportunity to lead clinical excellence while observing children achieve milestones. This is a Monday through Friday position with no nights, weekends, or major holidays, offering consistent hours and a supportive team environment.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the state of your designated facility (NLC accepted where applicable)
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience
• At least 6 months of experience in a PICU, NICU, or PPEC setting
• Current BLS/CPR certification and TB test
• Comfortable with basic computer skills and Microsoft Office

• Strong leadership presence with a warm, collaborative approach

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day clinical life of the facility.
• Supervise staff including RNs, LPNs, SRNAs, and care support.
• Coordinate care plans.
• Advocate for families.
• Ensure each child receives individualized attention.
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, specialists, and community resources within a multidisciplinary model.
• Keep the team informed, engaged, and growing through in-service training, quality assurance, and a culture of excellence and compassion.
• Oversee nursing care, clinical quality, compliance, and staff development.
