About The Position

The Director of Nursing (DON) at a Trilogy Health Campus oversees residents’ health concerns and manages the Nursing Services Department in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. The DON ensures quality care under the guidance of the Executive Director/Administrator and the Medical Director.

This role leads the clinical team, directs nursing programs and activities, maintains a quality assurance program, and supports compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The position is located at Bridgepointe Health Campus in Vincennes, Indiana.

Requirements

• Associate degree or advanced degree in Nursing.
• Current, valid state RN license that must be maintained.
• Current, valid CPR certification.

• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing service department, including its programs and activities, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines governing the Health Campus.
• Lead the clinical team with a focus on clinical and customer service excellence.
• Develop, implement, and maintain an ongoing quality assurance program for the nursing service department and execute action plans to correct identified deficiencies.
• Participate in facility surveys conducted by authorized government agencies and ensure facility compliance with laws and regulations governing the Health Campus.
• Oversee residents’ health concerns and manage the Nursing Services Department.
