Director of Nursing - East Unit
About The Position
The Director of Nursing has 24 hour a day seven day a week responsibility for treatment services provided for inpatient programs. The Director of Nursing promotes patient care consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Lakeside Behavioral Health. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required
- 5 years clinical experience with a psychiatric mental health population
- 3 years previous clinical supervisory role in an inpatient psychiatric setting
- Administrative/ management experience
- Licensure and registration by the Tennessee Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse
Nice To Haves
- MSN preferred
- American Nursing Association Psychiatric Mental Health Certificate preferred
- Knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing principles, working concepts and theory, leadership skills, age specific growth and development, limit setting, crisis and behavior management.
