About The Position

Dover Center for Health & Rehabilitation, a Silver Quality Award-winning skilled nursing center with 112 beds, is seeking a new Director of Nursing (DNS). Dover is a member of the National Health Care Associates family of facilities, with very solid financials and Survey History. We are seeking a DNS who is comfortable making decisions and will set the right tone, consistently upholding expectations with a young team. As the Director of Nursing, you will provide strategic leadership to the nursing team, setting goals and objectives aligned with our mission. You will foster excellence and innovation in nursing care. Your leadership will shape the culture of our facility and drive the advancement of healthcare practice. The Director of Nursing Services has 24-hour accountability and is responsible for the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective health care at the center, while achieving positive clinical outcomes, and patient/resident and employee satisfaction. Requirements

  • Valid state RN nursing license
  • Commitment to resident-centered care and excellence in healthcare delivery
  • Visionary mindset with a focus on innovation and quality improvement
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
  • Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
  • Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Experience in a senior nursing leadership role in a Long-Term Care or similar healthcare setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

  • Advanced degree or certification preferred
