About The Position

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) | RN for South Hampton Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. This role is responsible for the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents, ensuring quality standards of care are maintained. The DON will oversee Nursing Services for 24 hours and may assume responsibility for center operations in the absence of the Administrator. The company emphasizes a culture of learning and mentorship for its Nurse Leaders.

Requirements

Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state in which you are practicing.
Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required.
Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role required.
Professional image in both appearance and behavior.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred.

Responsibilities

Administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with physician orders and resident needs.
24-hour supervision of Nursing Services.
Directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care.
Assuming responsibility for center operations in the absence of the Administrator.
