About The Position

Summers Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is recruiting an experienced, compassionate RN to lead its nursing team as Director of Nursing. The RN Director of Nursing Services administers and coordinates clinical services and programs for residents, directly supervises nurses as nurse manager, and is responsible for day-to-day clinical operations. The position is bonus eligible.

Requirements

• Current RN license.
• Five years of clinical management experience; long-term care experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, and of laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care administration.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees and families about their issues.
• Maintain CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Director of Nursing experience is highly preferred.
