About The Position

This role is ideal for an experienced Behavioral Health or Substance Use Disorder Nurse Manager or Supervisor looking to take the next step into a Director of Nursing position with strong mentorship and support. As Director of Nursing, you'll oversee nursing operations and set the clinical standard for the facility.

Requirements

• Active RN license (Texas)
• 3+ years RN experience
• 1 year Behavioral health nursing experience (inpatient, outpatient, psychiatric, addiction recovery, or related)
• 2+ years of progressive leadership or management experience required

Nice To Haves

• BSN strongly preferred
• 6+ years RN experience preferred
• 2+ years Behavioral health nursing experience preferred
• Prior Director of Nursing or Nurse Manager experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage nursing teams to ensure high‑quality, patient‑centered care
• Provide coaching, development, and mentorship to nurse leaders and staff
• Ensure compliance with TJC, CMS, and state regulations
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning
• Monitor clinical outcomes and drive quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support treatment goals
• Participate in leadership meetings and support strategic decision‑making
