Director of Nursing-LPN-Assisted Living
About The Position
Brookdale Palm Coast is seeking an LPN Director of Nursing (Health & Wellness Director) for its 42-unit assisted living community. The ideal candidate will be an LPN with previous experience in assisted living. This role involves managing the day-to-day healthcare operations to ensure residents' needs are met with respect and dignity, and that quality care is maintained as healthcare needs evolve. As a Director of Nursing at Brookdale, you will leverage your leadership skills to inspire, lead, and manage the clinical team, ensuring the highest quality of care and services. You will build relationships with residents, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers to coordinate personalized care, collaborate with community leadership, mentor associates, and enhance resident and family satisfaction. This position offers a structured six-week orientation, online resources, local nurse mentors, ongoing support, and tuition reimbursement for professional development. Requirements
- Education as required to obtain state nursing license and state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN)
- Driver’s license
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- Strong working knowledge of technology, proficiency in Microsoft office suite and electronic documentation
- LPN with previous experience working in assisted living

Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure resident’s healthcare needs are met
- Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity and ensures quality care as resident’s healthcare needs change
- Be on call
- Complete assessments on incoming residents
- Interview new hires
- Manage the clinical staff
- Partner with the sales team and Executive Director
- Inspire, lead and manage the overall operation of the clinical team to provide the highest quality of care and services for our residents
- Proactively build relationships with residents, families, physicians and other healthcare providers for the coordination of exceptional personalized care
- Consistently collaborate with community leadership, mentor and engage your associates and build resident and family satisfaction
