About The Position
Beacham Memorial/Freedom Behavioral Hospital in Magnolia, MS is accepting resumes for the Director of Nurses (DON). This position is currently filled but applications are being accepted to ensure continuity of patient care in case of a vacancy. This is a full-time role reporting to the hospital CEO. The DON is responsible for maintaining care standards set by regulatory and accrediting bodies, providing oversight to direct care nursing staff, and ensuring safe and appropriate unit staffing.
Requirements
- Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing minimum, with MSN oversight.
- RN License through the state board of nursing.
- ACLS Certified.
- One-year management or related experience in nursing.
Responsibilities
- Uphold the standards of care established by regulatory and accrediting bodies.
- Provide oversight and direction to all direct care nursing staff.
- Ensure units are staffed safely and according to protocol.
