Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas.
• Previous nursing leadership or nursing administration experience required.
• Experience supervising nursing staff in a healthcare or skilled nursing facility.
• Knowledge of resident care planning, clinical documentation, and healthcare regulations.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and Medicare requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to quality care and resident well-being.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing operations and ensure quality resident care at Wheat State Manor.
• Develop and monitor individualized care plans in compliance with federal and state regulations and Medicare requirements.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate nursing staff while promoting professional development.
• Monitor clinical documentation, medical records, and HIPAA compliance.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Conduct audits and support quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote resident health, safety, and well-being.
• Manage nursing department staffing and daily operations.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
