About The Position

Requirements

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Proven leadership experience in nursing, preferably in a long-term care or similar healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and healthcare compliance standards.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a diverse nursing team effectively.
Experience with budgeting, staffing, and resource management.
Commitment to delivering patient-centered care with a compassionate approach.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and direction for the nursing department to maintain excellent standards of care.
Manage nursing staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
Oversee the development, implementation, and compliance of nursing policies and procedures.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
Ensure regulatory compliance and prepare for inspections and audits.
Monitor patient care quality, safety standards, and resident satisfaction, implementing improvements as needed.
Manage budgets, staffing schedules, and resource allocation within the nursing department.
Serve as a role model fostering a culture of compassion, integrity, and teamwork.
