About The Position

The Director of Nursing-RN will lead the clinical team with a sense of purpose and accountability, utilizing metrics and established goals. This role oversees medication management services, including training and auditing medication administration practices, and collaborates with healthcare providers and pharmacy staff. The Director of Nursing identifies ongoing needs and services of residents through assessment and service plans, utilizing the nursing process. They will also visit prospective/current residents in their homes or healthcare settings as needed to assess for admission/readmission to the community. This position serves as a clinical liaison with families, residents, healthcare professionals, and team members, and directs infection control measures for the community. The Director of Nursing works collaboratively with the community leadership team and manages/coordinates the work of the clinical staff, including overseeing and/or completing required training, staff schedules, and monthly and daily work assignments. On-call clinical support is also provided as needed.

Requirements

  • Understand the importance of being state survey ready, every day.
  • Have a current driver’s license.
  • A passion for enhancing their quality of life.
  • A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license; Compact license or ability to obtain is encouraged.
  • An unencumbered license is required.
